- Teaching Adjective Clauses - This section contains a comprehensive explanation for teaching adjective clauses. It begins with an overview of the four basic types of adjective clauses and divides them into two groups. Next, step-by-step explanations for how to reduce and front each type of clause are presented along with sections detailing common issues students encounter.
- Teaching adverb clauses
- This section builds on the lesson What is a clause? with a focus on explaining the structure of an adverb clause sentence as well as meanings, usage, and special issues found with the most commonly used adverb clause subordinators. It also includes a discussion on the differences between adverb clause subordinators and their preposition counterparts. This section concludes with a set of lesson plans and practices.
